License fees and Pro validity

Hi,

My friend company want to purchase Soapui Pro license for 1 year for 2-5 people. However, they do not want to renew their license after an year.

What complications do they foresee ? I said to them that , they could continually use the product, but NO support and upgrades will be possible after an year. is this right ? Or after 1 year all the pro features will be automatically disabled ?

    Hi!

    No, when the license expires you won't be able to continue using soapUI Pro as usual. You will however be able to run soapUI Pro in courtesy mode, which allows running of Pro projects (but no editing). You can also continue editing your soapUI Pro projects in soapUI Open Source (everything but Datasources, which is not included in soapUI Open Source).
