Is there any way to report on test steps as a count

Hello folks:

I have looked at summary reports generated.

I know it does a summary for test steps.

Now is there any way to report metrics on test steps.

Here is what we do over here.

We have each sprints treated as a test cases

and Each step within this test case is actually a test case and not really a test step.

This was the only we could do it otherwise we would have too many test cases!

Now when reporting its reporting on test cases not useful since test steps are actual test cases in my case!

I am pretty sure there must be a way to customize these reports to bring in more attributes.
