Step Level Execution Report
Hey team,
I am aware that you are able to generate a report of the aggregate pass/fail/block at a test case level, however I am unable to get the detailed level reporting at a test step level.
For example, I have a test case which is failed, and it contains 3 steps. The first two steps have passed, and the third has failed.
The result I am able to obtain is as follows (via raw data export):
- Execution.Result
- Execution.Environment
- Execution.Linked Issues
- Execution.Count of Linked Issues
- Test Cycle.Key
- Test Cycle.Name
Is there a report that provides me a more detailed breakdown of what was passed and when?
The problem I am trying to solve is several fold, but mainly revolves around more detailed reporting at a test step level. Ideally, I want to be able to report out to a QA team if a given execution by an end user has an attachment linked to a given step or given script.
Can you help provide information on the three bullets below?
- Obtain additional information based on what was executed within a specific script
- Validate that a screenshot or log file was uploaded to a given step within a test script upon execution, or
- Validate that a screenshot or log file was uploaded to a given script upon execution
Let me know if this makes sense, or if I can provide any other information to clarify-
Thanks!

Hi,
There is a report called "Test execution results (detailed)" that includes test step results, but the report doesn't show attachment and doesn't allow us to filter on that criteria. If logs/attachments/images are put in the Actual Results field they will show in the report but again, we are not able to filter on that field. So only half a solution really. And you might find that trying to run this report on a large dataset will timeout.
