Failed to connect HTTP Request - 3.6 Beta 2

The endpoint (request url) is specified in the HTTP request step. The web page is loaded in the embedded browser just fine, although it does say "connecting to localhost" in the bottom status bar of the embedded brower tab. When I Record Traffic (or don't record traffic) and I choose a radio button and click Go (which would submit the form) I get the error in the embedded browser and the resulting HTTP request step from the record will have http://localhost/ in the endpoint.
I would very much like this fixed for Tuesday as well.
There is no API that is exposed to us that does what this web page does.
