Failed samples in LoadUI

Hello,

I have created a simple Testcase in SoapUI (version 3.6-beta1) using a single http get request.
I then used the 'Run this TestCase with LoadUI' button to create a new Project in LoadUI linked to the SoapUI project file.
However, when I click on Run Once in the 'SoapUI sampler' dialog in the LoadUI interface my sample is always registered as failed.
When run directly under SoapUI where I have a single assertion to verify the return code it runs successfully (green icon).
In LoadUI I am using the 'Local (ghost) agent' only and both LoadUI and SoapUI are pointing correctly to each other and both installed on the same PC.

Is there something else I need to do to get this scenario to work in LoadUI (lastest build)?

    Hi Eric,

    hmm.. can you attach the right-most output terminal of the soapUI Runner to a TableLog component so you can see the actual error message for your TestCase and let us know what you get?

    I get the following error:

    [javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target, Missing Response] 0 1278941069668 Cancelling due to failed test step

    Hi,

    ok.. and are you using the bundled JRE with the soapUI 3.6-beta1 installation or and old/previous/existing one?

    I appear to be using an existing version 6.0_12 of java.
    My JAVA_HOME directory points to C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_12

    Hi,

    ok.. that could explain this, we know there are SSL issues with the JRE bundled with loadUI.. could you try editing the loadui.bat file in your loadUI folder to use this 1.6.0_12 JRE instead?

    Still getting the same error.

    My loadui.bat file now looks like this..

    @echo off

    cd /d %~dp0
    echo %CD%

    rem set JAVAWS=jre/bin/javaws
    set JAVAWS=c:/Program Files/Java/jdk1.6.0_12/jre/bin/javaws

    :START

    rem ********* run loadui ***********

    "%JAVAWS%" loadUI.jnlp

    Sorry about this, can you try with jre 1.6.0_18? At least we know that this works.

    I now have only jre6v18 installed on my system and I tried a simple test of hitting the 'https://www.google.com' web site.
    I'm still getting the same error however. I've attached the console output for you to look at just in case I'm doing something wrong at my end.
