Error in importing a static WSDL

When I'm trying to import a static wsdl of the form:

http://ingmymachine9.mycode1.mycompany. ... arder.wsdl

it says pops up an error box which states that :

Error Loading WSDL
"There was something wrong with the WSDL that you are trying to import"

and has the following line too
Error loading
[http://ingmymachine9.mycode1.mycompany.mycompanyName.com:8090/MyOwnEventForwarder/MyEventForwarder.wsdl]
org.Apache.xmlbeans.XmlExceptions: org.Apache.xmlbeans.XmlExceptions :error: does not close tag

When I try to open the same WSDL in my browser, it opens properly.
