Hi, utf-8 has been the default encoding in soapui at some time but this has been reverted (https://github.com/SmartBear/soapui/com ... 27d369e7fa, a user complained about this revert)
Usually, SoapUI uses the default encoding of your OS, this could explain the behaviour you see
