Datasource encoding problem

Hi, im am having difficulties using a directory datasource in combination with xml datasource. When the underlying utf-8 encoded files contains properties with characters from the extended domain s.a. åäö these characters becomes incorrectly interpreted. Any hint or suggestion to solve this matter would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance

    Hi Per,

the upcoming nightly builds adds an "Encoding" field to the directory datasource configuration panel so you can specify utf-8 (or iso-8859-1) as required.. let me know if it helps!

  • Pardon being a newbie!
But I'm am confused of where to find the nigthly build.
Tried the Main Menu/Downloads/soapui pro snapshot: the latest build
but got a "You are not authorised to view this resource."
I have a pro license and are correclty logged in (tried mozilla and safari) but
    still no luck!
Is there another download location for the nigthly build?
    Regards
  • Thanks for the swift rebuild, my encoding issue has been resolved thanks to your effort!
But there was a downside with the nigthly because of reloading/classloading issues regarding groovy scripts used in assertion steps.

    Hi Per,

yes.. we have had to change the classloading of groovy scripts; you need to put the groovy files in folders corresponding to their package (ie like in standard java).. Sorry for this inconvenience, but the current solution was causing some classloading-issues that couldn't be resolved in any other way..

    regards!
