Connection Reset with request larger than 512 bytes

We have a mock web-service built in Python using the lib HTTPServer and when in SoapUI 4.6.4 sending an request with 513 bytes or larger I get a connection reset. The server starts sending back the results but the connection is being reset in the middle. With gzip Request Compression enabled it all works fine.

I have tested sending the exact same request with curl and 2 other tools with the exact same configuration and it works ok so I have verified the functionality of the server.
