Comparing values within XML responses.

I have built a test case to loop through using a datasource file to populate a test request. Each test request and response are saved to a folder when processed.


Within soap ui, how can I compare a few of the values in each response??? Let's say I want to compare the value in one field to a value in another soap response?

Basically id like to find a way to do a validation in the response or a way to compare to another response.


I appreciate any feedback!!!

    If you are using soapUI Pro (which I assume since you use DataSources), you should use the soapUI Pro forum to get help (credentials is in the e-mail tgat you got when you purchased your license). If you're a soapUI Pro Trial user, please e-mail our support.

    Are the "two different responses" within the same DataSource loop? Are you trying to compare some archived previous step?

    The answer would depend on what you are trying to do.
