Chinese Standard Characters

So I know when I uses a groovy step I am able to see the characters that I am passing into a string (within my script) log.info '简化字' however when I execute this line the console only shows "box...

Hello,

I'm currently having this issue with SoapUI NG, but can't find the Native Look & Feel options. Was this option removed with the switch to NG? Is there now a different solution?

1. You use the right char set need or use UTF-8
2. For changing look and feel, see the below documentation link to see if that helps

Well, I'm sorry but that does not really answer my question.

I can see the chinese characters in XML view, which means to me that internally everything is fine. However in FormView they are just square signs. It basically is the same behavior as it was in Soap UI Pro, but there at least we have the Native Look & Feel Option, which seems to be missing in SoapUI NG/Ready API.

The documentation you linked, doesn't contain anything about the native look option.

  You mean to say, you are not able to see some thing like this in form tab? Got ReadyAPI 1.4.1, and I see characters as expected, you can see there are no boxes.

    That is exactly what I mean. Sorry, if I was unclear with my description. I use Ready API 1.5.0
