Can't load properties from external file in UI

Hi,

I'm trying to load properties from an external file. I'm running SoapUI 4.5.1 on Windows 7.

The file contents look something like this:

dog
cat
horse
cow
...

Specifying file name "F:/folder.name/properties.txt" does not work. Neither does "F:\\folder.name\\properties.txt." In either case I get the message that SoapUI has created/added 0 properties.

I've made sure to check off "Create missing properties."

Very frustrating not to be able to do something so basic. Any help appreciated.

    When you say "check off" I presume you mean that you have checked the check box, because this setting needs to be enabled.
    Also, I'm a bit curious if the dot in the folder name might cause some issues. Could you temporary try to rename the folder?
