Cannot apply basic authentication in Interface Viewer

Heyas,

I seem to be having a problem applying basic authentication through the interface viewer for RESTful resources. I can supply the username and password but it doesn't seem to be applied to lower level/child resources. Is this a known issue or is there something special I need to do configuration wise? I have tried the apply button but that didn't help. I have done this in previous versions of Soap UI and I think I just input the credentials to the appropriate fields and it was automatically applied. It doesn't seem to be working in 4.5.1 though...
