Bulk Update of Definitions

The problem: Because of the size of our application, for testing it has been broken into multiple projects.
Each project has 15 to 30 service definitions. When a new release needs testing:
(1) there is no indication in soapUI that any particular service has changed and
(2) any changed service (because of 1 you have to assume every service has changed) has to each definition in each project has to be updated individually with the Update Definition function.
This is error prone (easy to miss a service while updating), and time consuming.

Request:
An indication that a service definition is no longer the same as the server's definition.
And a bulk UpdateDefinition function at the project level.

Thanks for considering

      Hi Shadid,

What's the status on SOAP-332 and SOAP-333? Has a bulk update of definitions already been added to SoapUI?

      Thanks,

      -Bing

      • Hi Bing,

As far as I see, this wasn’t implemented yet. I could suggest that you submit this request as an improvement idea in our Feature Requests forum. Other community members could vote for this functionality – this would increase the chance Product Manager will consider implementing this.
