as our organisation has defined very strict processes for releasing a new software (version), we cannot deploy nightbuilt here.
Because of this, an list of all errors (since release of the last version) may be very usefull to us.
And as you handle all errors, posted in the forum, it should be easy for you to generate a list like this.
Furthermore the forum is not very handy, when trying to report bugs or check for new ones.
- as there is no format restriction, it is not possible to get information about the version, the error was found in
- posts might be redundant or do describe no errors (but a mistake in user behaviour). As there is no ordering (e.g. in folders like bug / problem / no errors / ...) I cannot decide which one is usefull an which is not (I have to read all of them to get these information, and even this might not help in some cases)
- some errors a described in the "bugs" forum, some in the "pro bugs" forum and some in the general Support forum of the two versions. How to find all of them?
- because of a missing workflow, I cannot check the current state of a bug-report (when will it be fixed/ will it be fixed at all?)
- as "my posts" are not ordered by sub forum, I cannot handle my bug reports there (currently there are just a few, but this will grow definitely)
So how about providing a (more) professional bug reporting GUI?
And how about plans for providing an error list?
