Adaptable load generator (virtual users)

It would be nice if the virtual user load generator was able to wait for responses before doing more requests.
This is very useful when simulating users clicking around on a web site, i.e. the user waits until the page has been loaded before doing a new request. Such a behaviour is a must for me when doing load tests.
  • Good point.

    This is very interesting. What comes to me immediately is also I would like to test the following for Web Testing;

    If the response does not arrive in 3 seconds send a new request every 1 second. This to simulate impatient users who will resubmit the request if the response is not fast enough.

    Thanks! This is very interesting input.

  • Hi,

    In the upcoming final release of loadUI 1 and soapUI 3.6 this will be quite easy and flexible. You can now record advanced Web Tests in soapUI, Selenium style, and run these as Load Tests in loadUI. These will be heavy duty Functional Tests with assertions time outs and all. You'll be able to do exactly what you wanted and more. I think it's really cool.
