401- unauthorized message for a service

I am unable to access my webservice connecting to the mainframe.  I have added user id and password to the Request Properties, and updated the Auth tab with Basic Authentication. I can get to the web...

Make sure you've selected the "authenticate preemptively" mode in the Auth tab or in Global preferences
