Test Management - Test Sets - Dashboard is Blank

I have a project which has many Test Cases in the Test Management tab.  There is a Test Set linked to a Release, and that Test Set has 15 Test Cases associated.

When I am in the Dashboard on the Test Management tab, each of the 4 portals display the text "No records meet this criteria" even though there have been Test Runs against the Test Set linked to the Release.

What are the exact parameters that need to be met in order for the 4 portals on the Test Management/Test Sets Dashboard to show data?

    Hi Brett

When you say your are on a dashboard tab which tab are you talking about (Test Library or Test Sets)?...

Also, what do you see on the test run history tab for the set...

What values do you have for the release and configuration that you ran this set against?

With a bit more info I should be able to help you out.

Hi Bill, thanks for your reply.

The dashboard screens I'm referring to can be accessed from the Test Management tab (top-most tab set), Dashboard menu item (underneath top-most tab set).

The Test Library screen only shows data for Test Library By Assignee.  The Requirement Test Coverage reports that no records meet this criteria.

All four areas on the Test Sets screen report that no records meet this criteria.

On the Test Run History tab, I am showing 20 entries with various status' of: Awaiting Run, Blocked, Incomplete, In Progress, Passed and Failed.  HOWEVER, none of my entries show anything in the Release or Configuration columns.

I didnt link this Test Set to a Release until after the 19th entry was made into the Run History.  The 20th entry was inadvertently made by me, as I thought I could start a run, but close it out without affecting history.  I was wrong...
  • We are also facing similar problem using QAComplete 9.7. We cannot display any Dashboard related to the Test Library. Test Runs Dashboards all works fine though. We tried all test library-related setups in the Setup Dashboards section

I am hoping for a genaral explanation about how the Test Library Dashboards VS Test Cases Dashboards work, how they are linked and what data they are based on (Release, Current Project, etc)
