Facing problem to get the empty value while executing . it is taking empty as zero if execel sheet is not opened.if it is opened it is taking the corect value(empty value)

i am validating text field by giving empty value ,string value ,zero like that by using hybrid frame work.

i have kept all these values in a excel sheet.So while i am executing the script it is takeing the empty value as zero.

but through script if i open the excel sheet and then if i am validating it it is takeing the correct value(empty value).then i am saving the sheet and closing it.



But i am not able to understand why it is takeing empty as zero if i dont open the sheet.

if i open the sheet then it why it is taking the correct value(empty)

it is behaving like this only for this filed.



please helpme  to get the answer.
