I'll give it a shot, but I'm not the Active Directory Expert :)
If you are looking at the LDAP Active Directory Authentication section,
this is where you put the user info to connect to the LDAP server.
If you are looking at the Test LDAP Authentication section, this is
where you use an actual user login email address and active directory
password.
There's some info in the User's Guide that might help: Understanding Active Directory
And of course, if you still have questions, please let our Support Team know and they'll get you the answer. All you need to do is log into the application, click Help Center at the top right, then click Create Support Ticket.
