How to exclude directory when uploading commit via CodeCollab GUI

Noticed that there's a field for excluding file types when uploading changes for review, but what I really need is a way to exclude a folder.  Often times we're updating 3rd party libraries and don't care to add thousands of files to the review because it slows down opening up the reviews (sometimes from seconds to minutes to HOURS).  I've look around and not found the information that I want.  It seems like it should be doable, but I just don't have the right syntax maybe.
