AQTime hangs while allocation profiling

I have an application that uses a couple of dll's, however I've only once been able to run the allocation profiler through to completion.  When running the application with the first dll AQTime will run through to completion, however the memory leaks I'm hunting for are not in this dll.  When adding the second dll my application aborts or hangs.  When repeated the abort or hang may occur at different locations.  Only once was I able to get the allocation profiler results for my target dll.
