Some additional information:
- In the meanwhile I've tried installing AQtime 6.40 on several machines with different Delphi 2010 versions / different Windows versions: no success at all. For me it seems to be a quite widespread problem.
- As Eric and Uwe said: feel free to contact me if you need someone to test the fixed version before release.
