Why does a project go into an invalid state?

Hi, 

 

I'm new to SOAPUI so not sure what is causing this issue or how to fix it.  

 

I have a project that I was using yesterday.  Today I come in and the project has a little x on the folder and I am unable to do anything with it.

 

Does anyone know why this would happen?  What do I need to do to get it back when this happens?

    Hi,

     

    It may just be that your project file is no longer at the same location (file path) as your SoapUI workspace expects it to be e.g. if the project file has been moved. 

     

    If it is this, then I normally just remove the project from the workspace and import it again.
