soapUI with https for functional testing but login problems

Hi

I'm trying to use soap/loadUI with https for functional testing - but am having problems using soapUI to log in via web form. Basic Auth pop-up seems OK and have tried on another site.

Tutorials do not seem to cover this step - what am I missing?

Have spent a good deal of time (3 hours plus) trawling around looking for clues but now stuck.

    I know everyone is busy - but a few pointers would help. Colleagues are beginning to say don't use loadUI/soapUI but use Grinder instead. The lack of info on this may mean that:
      for everyone else it just works
      you need a script to log in
      soapUI just doesn't do it


    Pointers on this would help - thanks in anticipation
