SOAP UI PRO for Performance Envi Virtualization

Dear Smartbear Team,

This question may be bit strange but I have such requirement here though.

Can we use SOAP UI PRO for replacing some of Performance environment components ? I'm trying to understand, Can this tool sustain such higher volume of load ?

Replacement means Service level components like webservices..

Please provide your thoughts!
