Soap GUI and .SVC files
Afternoon all,
Apologies if this has been asked before, I'm, new to both testing Web Services and to SoapGUI. I've had a search widely on both the wider Internet and across the EviWare forums but have had no success.
I'm testing a SharePoint 2007 related web service, which to date has been a manual task, invoking various parameters via a console application within Visual Studio. A user on the MSDN forums directed me to the SoapGUI and its potential as a services testing tool After having a look at the literature, I was of a similar view.
The problem is, that the service I'm testing is a .SVC, not a WSDL, which SoapGUI doesn't seem to like. I've tried all sorts of URL tricks to get it to work but the file just isn't accepted.
The tool looks like it can be a useful commodity but as yet, I'm unable to reconcile the two. Any help is appreciated.
many thanks
