soap 4.01 - memory error, antivirus or firewall stops soap

Installed soap 4.01 after installing latest Java SDK. I get a messege moments after clicking to open soap the says "The JVM cound not be started. The Maximum heap size (-Xmx) might be too large or an antivirus or firewall tool could block the execution."

I am on a company network. MY system does not have a firewall running. Have admin rights on my system. Symantec antivirus appears to be running in background. Could this be stopped SoapUI?

Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated.

    What version of Symantec are you running? Have you searched the Symantec logs to see if the SoapUI is getting blocked?
