Running MockResponse Test Step multiple times

I'am trying to run a MockResponse Test Step multiple times. If a request with a value A is received I'm jumping to a test step A otherwise I am jumping to a empty groovy script test step just before my MockResponse Test Step with the intention to wait for the next request and so on.

This works perfectly fine for the first request but after that no further requests seem to arrive.

Could that have something to do with the Bug reported here: http://www.eviware.com/forums/index.php?topic=1776.0 ?

Any suggestions, solutions or workarounds?
