Rest Authentication

Question

Hi All

Any one kindly let me know how to authenticate REST URL.
As i am not finding any parameters are header message which is available for SOAP based web services i am not able to pass any smsession or siteminder token.When ever i send a REST request its showing 401 response code.
Let me know the solution.

Are you working on to verify for the service developed by others, probably it would help you if you could speak to him/her who developed it.

Hi,

When you access your REST URL through a browser, are you prompted to login?
If that is the case, you will need to mimic this in SoapUI. Please take a look at this article:
http://www.soapui.org/Working-with-Projects/form-based-authentication-in-soapui.html.
