Problems with Citrix environment - recent projects gone
I am a newbie with SOAPUI. We have installed SOAPUI 3.6.1 64-bit version in a Citrix environment running Windows Server 2008 R2.
SOAPUI starts nicely and I can create new projects and save them.
The problem is that when I exit SOAPUI and start it again, the navigation panel is empty or better to say it contains just the default 'Project' node and all my projects that I had created in last session are gone from the panel. It is like I'd started soapui first time. Same issue if I create own workspaces. They are gone as well when starting soapui next time.
The projects and workspaces created are not exactly gone, they are in the same directory where the imported WSDL is located (H:drive). And even if the navigation panel has lost my previous work, I am able to import my projects from my H:drive. So this feature is not a showstopper, but very annoying to import previous projects every time I start SOAPUI.
Additionally when starting SOAPUI again, I cannot see anything in the 'Recent projects' menu.
Simply to put: when I start SOAPUI, the UI view is like I had ever done nothing with the tool previously. Like it would no longer remember what I did in last session.
As Citrix is using virtual desktops, I wonder if this has nothing to do with that?
Where does SOAPUI save my currenly used settings and work? In a registry or some xml-file located in C:\Users\<username>\... folder? I cannot see any xml-files in my document folder at least.
In the help-system settings utility, I can see that current user.home parameter has a value that refers to a other user that was used upon installation. Of course I am not able to access that directory.
In general, is SOAPUI meant to be used in a Citrix environment at all? In my case I do'nt want to share my projects with anybody, just want to retain my previous work whenever I start SOAPUI. This used to work in a Windows terminal server environment at least.
