ojdbc8.jar not picking up in SOAPUI 5.3.0

Hi, 

We are currently using open source SOAPUI 5.3.0 that we recently updated with the ojdbc8 jar. I manually added the jar file to /Contents/java/app/ext as well as jre/lib/ext. However, SOAP UI does not seem to be picking up the new jar. The JDBC step gives the following error:

java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver found for jdbc xxxx

Currently, we are blocked due to this. Please advice.
