JDBC Request

Hi
i am trying to create a JDBC request to retrieve data from TOAD(oracle 10.2.0.3)
..M using this driver:
oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver
and this is the connection string
jdbc:oracle:thin:qasel/PASS_VALUE@vet2cup1:1521:CUP1
it gives me this wen i test the connection
"com.eviware.soapui.support.SoapUIException: Failed to init connection for drvr [oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver], connection String [jdbc:oracle:thin:qasel/#####@vet2cup1:1521:CUP1]"

can u pls help
