How do I find th soapUI log?

In the 10 tips for beginners a log is mentioned that should be viewed if you want to know more information about an error that was generated - but the documentation fails to say where it is. Is it on my hard drive somewhere or within the application?

    There is a button along the buttom named "soapUI log", click that

    The logfile itself is located in the /bin folder in the installation directory e.g. C:\Program Files\SmartBear\soapUI-Pro-4.0.1\bin

    I am looking in the /bin file and I don't see the logs either.

    Is it in another folder within the bin folder?

    The only thing that says "log" is soapui-log4j.xml


    Do I need to enable logging somewhere to have it write to a logfile?

    Hi,

    There might be some issues with your log4j file settings.
    Please try by replacing the soapui-log4j.xml with the file that I have attached.

    Note: Don't forget to rename the attachment extension from .txt to .xml
