How can I reuse some common steps in SOAPUI PRO?

do as follows:

1) put the common teststeps in a seperate TestCase
2) invoke this TestCase from another one using the "Run TestCase" TestStep;  http://www.soapui.org/userguide/functio ... estep.html

Yes, this will help at some level, but what the test steps are not related.

In that do you suggest that we have to create test case for each single step?

For example, in my test cases some steps like login, adding item to cart  will be created in many test cases, so I want to put those test cases at somewhere like library etc. and i can call whatever step is required from test case.

In your solution i have to create different test case for each step.

Is there any way such that I can extend the test step and create my on test step and create libarary out of it and put in common library path and use that step? But it should show in net test steps list.

Please suggest me better way here.

there is no better way that I can come up with right now.. please add a feature-request for this here or at sourceforge (elaborte on how you would like it..) so we can schedule it for a future release..
