css not rendering in the recording screen w/ soapui

I'm trying to record the http interactions and replay them in loadui. The problem is for our internal mobile web site (https://xxx.xx.xx.xxx:444/), the css is not rendering and the javascript functionality is not working for me to click a button. (It works fine our other sites and for google/nytimes, etc...)

1) Any one have any ideas what is causing this? is there some configuration setting I'm overlooking?

2) does the soapui api support navigating the web, interacting with the web elements like selenium? any tutorials/examples of this?
