Adding Wsdl Hangs on www.w3.org/2005/05/xmlmime

Hello, I am using SoapUI 3.01 and recently I ran across an issue that I cannot get around. I am importing a wsdl to a project and it starts to load the wsdl but then hangs on "Loading [http://www.w3.org/2005/05/xmlmime]" I cannot get passed this dialog and the wsdl is never imported to the project. The only way to fix the issue that I know of is to save the wsdl locally and edit it so it does not try to load xmlmime. I have my proxy setup and I have tested that that works by connecting to other sites.
Is there a fix for this behavior? This makes loading wsdl's a very timely process.
