Test Status as Fail when TestComplete is active or opened

I am facing one issue regarding calling test from QA Complete.

 

When I call any test from QA Complete. Is it Mandatory to Close the TestComplete ?

 

Because it is only running when TestComplete is closed, if it is open or active it will not call the API for executing tests.

I have tried out both options for - use active session if the user is logged in - in test agent settings as well

 

Please help !!

    Hi Anmol,

     

    Yes, TestComplete (TestExecute) should be closed when you run automated tests from QAComplete.
