SQLServer Database location on a VM ok?
So we have ALMComplete in house and now need a database and a location.
We tried to use MySQL but apparently its not supported. So we bought SQLServer and then the question came up as to where to locate the server. The initial intent was to buy or share a server.
But then someone came up with the idea to locate the SQLServer DB on a virtual machine.
My question is, "Will ALMComplete have any issues with its database being located on a
VM or Oracle Virtual Box (OVB)?'
I need to know quickly before we go to all the effort to set it up only to find it won't work.
