Performance issue on Security Maintenance - User Security screen

We are experiencing very long respone times on the Security Maintenance - User Security screen when saving changes to Security Group assignment for a single user. It does not seem to matter whether I change the Security Group for 1 project or many it still takes more than a full minute to complete the save. We are running ALM Complete v9.7.5 on premises and have 71 projects in the system. Has anyone had similar issues and if so what was the resolution?
