RAD Studio + AQTime Plugin + Floating Licence

I found using of AQTime7 floating license to be very problematic with RAD Studio XE integration:

If any RAD Studio is already running - AQTime plugin will not be loaded. Furthermore - if any RAD Studio already run then running standalone version is not possible. I first must ask all my coworkers to exit RAD Studio before I can run AQTime.

In other words AQTime integration is not compatible with floating license.

  • Hello Tomasz,

This problem should be fixed in the next AQtime update - the license controlling logic will change to make it easier to use Floating AQtime licenses.

The update with the floating license fix has been released just before Christmas. That is version 7.1.
