Files doesn't save in AQTime

My company uses AQTime, but no user has administrator privileges on the machine. As a result, every employee has to manually open AQTime and then request assistance from the IT team. We devised a script to launch AQTime without requiring domain/machine administrator credentials. However, when we attempt to "open project" and enter "%appdata%", the necessary files we need to generate are not located where they should be. In fact, we are unable to locate these files at all. Do you have any insights into this issue? When we run the script with a username and password, it creates a user folder in the appdata directory. Yet, because the script is executed with system admin rights, these folders are not created, as the system doesn't establish a user context.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming
