Re: Patch to 9.8.1 Update Intoduces New Issues
I dont use the test feature personally, so I cant speak to those specific errors. I would suggest using Jing to record a user session, capturing the error pop up, and then attach that video file to a new support ticket. You can create a support ticket by clicking the "Help Center" link, and then the "Create Support Ticket" link.11 years agoPlace QAComplete QuestionsQAComplete Questions1.2KViews0likes0CommentsSomething Changed all Owner, Assigned To and Folder Values for my Project Requirements
I noticed a strange change within one of my projects requirements in ALM Complete. The owner, assigned to, and folder dropdown values appear incorrect when opening a requirement (and from the tabular view). When I click on either of the dropdowns, the correct value is highlighted, but the incorrect value still appears as the selected value. After changing the dropdown values to the correct ones, and saving it once, I see the following in history. It saves the incorrect values and then saves the correct values.11 years agoPlace QAComplete QuestionsQAComplete Questions3.7KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Can I kick someone out of a session?
Kary, there is a way for administrators of self hosted ALM sites to kill user sessions, but it currently is broken. After you're logged in, change the URL to: {yourWebsiteDomain}/Common/Logon.asp?WCI=tplUserList It will provide you with a way to see who currently has open sessions in the database. Each username is a link, which when clicked on, should clear that user's session. Until SmartBear provides a fix for this, you can clear sessions using the following SQL directly in your databases sql window, after substituting curly braces and their contents with your actual data: UPDATE PersonLogins SET DateLogout=GETDATE(), LoggedOutBy='Your Name' WHERE UserId IN ({PUT COMMA SEPARATED USERIDS TO CLEAR SESSIONS FOR HERE}) AND DeptId={THE DEPT ID FOR THE USERS ABOVE} AND DateLogout IS NULL; Then run: UPDATE Persons SET IsLoggedOn = 'N' WHERE (UserId IN ({SAME COMMA SEPARATED USERIDS AS ABOVE})) AND IsLoggedOn = 'Y';11 years agoPlace QAComplete QuestionsQAComplete Questions1.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Can I kick someone out of a session?
Anik, I have come across this issue and opened a ticket with SmartBear support. The problem lies in that the user's UserId value never makes it to the actual SQL, which is why you see "...WHERE UserID = AND..." when it should look something like "...WHERE UserID = 20132 AND..." I've recorded the problem so they can see exactly what I'm trying to describe in the ticket. Thanks Kurtis for the follow-up. The problem is that when we click on the link to kick someone out, no matter who, we obtain an error message "An error occurred while processing your request and has been logged with the System Administrator. If you continue receiving this error message, please contact Support". In the Report-Administrative-Error Logs, I get this error details : [0][0][0]Invalid SQL: UPDATE PersonLogins SET DateLogout = GETDATE(), LoggedOutBy = 'Cadieux, Anik ' WHERE UserId = AND DeptId = 8162 AND DateLogout Is NULL UPDATE Persons SET IsLoggedOn = 'N' WHERE UserId = AND IsLoggedOn = 'Y' If you have any clue, thanks for letting me know !11 years agoPlace QAComplete QuestionsQAComplete Questions1.1KViews0likes0CommentsUser Gets Error When Running Report, But I Dont
I have a user who is trying to run a specific custom created report. He can run it against one project, but he receives errors when running it against other projects. Support Replied: The most graceful approach is to stop the service. We recommend only running the diagnostics when instructed to do so by SmartBear Support. If you have a specific issue or question that prompted you to run the diags, please send us a description of the issue you're seeing along with your server logs so we can take a closer look.535Views0likes0Comments[CodeReviewer] 'Run All Diagnostics' not returning
I had my system administrator bounce the server that our instance of Code Collaborator (v7.0.7022) is running on. After it came up, I launched “RUN ALL DIAGNOSTICS” from the Diagnostic Utility page. It’s been two hours, and the “RUN ALL DIAGNOSTICS” call has not finished, nor has it returned any data. Any suggestions?727Views0likes1CommentRe: CodeCollaborator v7.3.7303 64 bit server memory leak and corruption
Total Noob Question: I would like to ask my admin to bouce the CC server processes, but neither of us are familiar enough to know which processes need to be recycled. Can you describe which processes should be restarted, or if there is a preferred way to bounce?865Views0likes0Comments
