Test Executions section of a Test - changed to ASC vs DESC - Can this be adjusted in Settings?
Recently migrated to Cloud, Zephyr Squad, I have noticed the Test Executions section of a Test - changed to ASC Date vs previous format by Date DESC - Can this be adjusted in Settings? See attachment 2023-05-09_1-50-53.jpg
Lock execution result Zephyr Scale
How can i "lock" an execution result after it has been executed? I want to force the tester to proceed to a new execution if there is any change to the previous one. Same question for the tests cases. I want a test to be "frozen" after it has been approved. How can i force a V2 of a test or at least for the status change to draft ?Filter by Execution Defects(s)
Hi, we have just migrated to Zephyr Sqad, and I see that it's not possible to filter or search for test case with executions defectes in the execution navigator. I think this is a step back.. we use this to bulk change for block and unblock test cases linked to defect,, and it's som much more work to do this one by one.. How do you do this? Lene
How do I locate that search result test case in Test Repository folder structure
I have Test Repository with test cases arranged in folders. Each test case is given a testcaseid automatically. In my BDD feature file, I give the reference of the test case id for documentation purpose or what ever. When I want to refer to the Test case steps, I go to Zephyr, search for the test case by it's id, using advanced search field using ZQL syntax. I could locate the test case and it is displayed in a table, but I need to locate the test case in the folder structure of the TestRepository, not in an isolated mode as a single test case. How could I navigate to the folder structure and see the test case in the containing folder ?
Assign test cycle to multiple users
Hi Community, I have a test cycle coming up in my project. I have created a corresponding Test Cycle in Zephyr and have created and assigned a number of Test Cases to it. I have a group of users(SMEs) lined up for testing. All users must test all Test Cases. How can I assign the same Test Cycle to each of my users for simultaneous execution? Thanks in advance.
Raising tests as Sub-tasks to sit under User story tasks
Hi there everyone, We are a very small company who have recently decided to invest in our Quality. Starting a dedicated QA team and investing in the Zephyr squad plug in. We have been using Jira for sometime and wanted a tool that we could easily integrate so Zephyr was the first choice. I have however been disappointed and find Zephyr quite cumbersome. It is most likely user related (me!) but if anyone could suggest workarounds to make the following possible it would make life so much easier! The main problem is thattests in Zephyr are a ‘Task’ whereas we would like them to sit under User story’s which are also a ‘Task’ – can Tests be subtasks Smaller queries include - When I’m on a Test Execution page I’d like to be able to click on the defect to open it. - Ideally, I would like the execution status to be the same as that of the overall Test - when the execution status changes the test status is also updated accordingly. - Can the overall test show attachments added in the execution process? - Uisng the 'Create' button, how can we create defects/bugs as sub tasks from the execution page to sit under the story's? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bríd.
