Is there a way of assigning test cases to a 'Group' rather than an individual?

Hi, I'm just starting to learn about creating defects in Zephyr Enterprise (not linked to Jira). When I go to create one, there is a mandatory field of 'Component' but there are not options to select in the field so I can't complete it.
