We're now LIVE, so get upgrading and get testing! soapUI 4.5 -The Big Ears Release includes great features like Test Debugging, Assertion TestSteps, and Message Content Assertion. We’ve also added the powerful Test On Demand feature, which allows you to run your functional tests from other locations around the world, with the use of SmartBear’s cloud. For more details check out http://www.soapui.org/About-SoapUI/whats-new-in-soapui-45.html With the simultaneous release of loadUI 2.0 we also welcome loadUI Pro to the playing field. With loadUI Pro comes Server Monitoring, which allows you to really dig-down into your server data and pin-point what might be causing a problem or bottleneck. Another part of the 2.0 release is the improved integration with soapUI by the revamped soapUI Runner, which now makes it even easier to bring your functional tests from soapUI into loadUI. Neda Smartbear SoftwareRe: Creating a custom test stepHi, Check out the blog post on http://blog.smartbear.com/post/12-01-30/creating-your-own-teststeps-in-soapui/ hope this helps NedasoapUI Pro to read from an excel spreadsheethI, I was wondering if any of you guys had used the data source test step in SOAPUI Pro to read from an excel spreadheet whilst Load Testing Using LOADUI. At the moment I have it all set up but for some reason there are a few problems. 1. When reading in data from the excel spreadheet, the load test seems unable to progress through the rows of the data sheet, causing everything but the 1st request to fail. (I need to submit different data per request). This is despite having the setting to share the data set with running theads. I've tried the same test but using a grid of a few values that I entered, and this works fine, it just seems to have a problem with reading the data from a spreadsheet. 2. I don't appear to be able to output the actual response from the request on any of the table logs. All I can get hold of are the failures. Hence I can't prove anything has actually passed a test. Any help with this would be appreciated. From AndrewRe: Add a new forum section for how-to'sI think it's a really good idea , we will work on it .It takes some time to figure out which one should we go for it ,wiki or seperate section in our forum .
