Re: No option to disable server cert validity check
Any follow up to this? I'm having the same problem, and the linked reference to the SSL Settings page is about as bad an answer as you can give. Where exactly on that page does it describe how to disable host checking? Which setting, specifically, denotes that SoapUI will not refuse a connection due to a self-signed certificate on the server? And considering SoapUI is frequently used as a dev testing tool, why in the hell would it perform strict checking in the first place?!? Who pays for a signed certificate on a dev machine? This is seriously infuriating, and I'm ready to chuck soapui altogether... especially considering the ridiculously poor performance of these forums... I've made three posts now, and all indications were that they were successful, but they don't appear when I click "View your posts".10 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions17KViews0likes0CommentsRe: How to set using insecure ssl in SoapUI?

Try this: - Use google search to find a specific post in the soapui forums (b/c the forum search sucks) - Follow the link to the soapui forum post - Click "Post Reply"; note the user is take to the login page - Login with valid credentials; note the user is forwarded to the Index page Awesome, I'm logged in. How do I get back to the post I want to comment on? Well, search sucks, so... - Return to the post using the browser's back button - Click "Post Reply" again (after having successfully logged in) - Note the user is taken, again, to the Login page. This is crap, just absolute crap. Landing back on the Login page, after having already logged in, is like getting a big "F U!!!" from smartbear.
