I suspect there have been some changes made to that file which caused it to automatically be unhidden. To fix this, please navigate to ADMIN > System > Review Process > Hiding Review File Options > When a hidden file changes: > set to "Keep the file hidden." Hello, I believe the easiest way to edit default custom field defect types is through the Web UI. Go to the Admin Panel > Custom Fields (under Review Templates) > Defect Custom Fields tab > CUSTOM FIELD: Type section. Then enter in your new types in the Selectable Items section and click SAVE. You will need admin access to do this. Once saved, any template using the Type defect custom field will be updated and you should be able to select your new type.
