Why is an XML node not matshing my yaml (adds a s)
For the API athttps://app.swaggerhub.com/apis/Windward-Studios/windward-rest_ful_api/2.0#free If you look at the XML (not JSON) for POST v2/document, inside it it has <Datasets> <Datasets> <Name>string</Name> <Query>string</Query> </Datasets> </Datasets> The inner <Datasets> should be <Dataset>. Why is it making it plural? thanks - daveSolved771Views0likes1CommentHow do I report a bug?
I think I've found a bug. In our Swagger Hub listing for our API, for “POST /v2/document”, for Properties, Parameters, Datasources, and DataSets (inside Datasources) it’s not doing the Property, … inside it for the request body as application/xml. For example it has: <Properties> <Name>string</Name> <Value>string</Value> </Properties> When it should have: <Properties> <Property> <Name>string</Name> <Value>string</Value> </Property> </Properties> For application/json it appears to be correct (an array): "Properties": [ { "Name": "string", "Value": "string" } ], Is this a bug in my yaml or a bug in SwaggerHub? If I'm describing "public byte[] Data" I do so as: Data: type: string format: base64 description: "The generated report as a single file in the user specified format. If this is populated Pages will be null." But how do I describe a 2 dimensional array like "public byte[][] Pages"?453Views0likes0CommentsHow do I create a Java server framework?
Hi all; Reading the details on Swagger (we first got it to create clients to our REST server), it looks like it can create the framework for a server app that implements the defined API. We need to do this for Java (our existing REST server is .Net). We have prospects who want Java, not .Net Core. What's the best way to do this? I see a ton of Java server choices. What I want is something that is as simple as possible to install, configure, and administer. Before Swagger I was thinking Spring, but I have not been in the server side of Java for 15 years so I likely don't know what's the latest/greatest approach for all this. ??? - thanks - dave617Views0likes1CommentHow can I set the server at runtime?
Hi all; I'm creating REST clients for our commercial RESTful server. Our customers install it on their server and then call it. Therefore the server name is different for each customer. Hi can I have the generated client API have a call to set the server instead of setting it in the .yaml file? thanks - dave510Views1like0CommentsHow do I set useDateTimeOffset in Swagger
My command line is: openapi-generator generate -g csharp-netcore --api-package net.windward.rest.dotnet.client -packageName=net.windward.rest.dotnet.client -packageVersion=20.1 -useDateTimeOffset=true -o clients/csharp -i oas.yaml And it does not like the -useDateTimeOffset. I've tried --useDateTimeOffset and I've tried spacing the true instead of the =. They all fail. thanks - dave488Views0likes0CommentsHow do I reference the same schema as a property?
I have the following in my oas.yaml file: components: schemas: ServiceError: type: object properties: Message: type: string description: "The exception message." ExceptionMessage: type: string Type: type: string description: "The exception type."" InnerError: $ref: '#/components/schemas/ServiceError' description: "If there's an inner exception, the InnerException. Property: type: object properties: Name: type: string description: Name of the property. It does not like the line "description: "If there's an inner exception, the InnerException." and if I remove that, it does not like the line "Property:". I've tried a lot of things and nothing works. What am I not understanding? thanks - daveSolved907Views0likes2Comments
