Apache offers the maven-surefire-plugin with the parameter to re-run failed test cases as documented here:http://maven.apache.org/surefire-archives/surefire-2.18.1/maven-surefire-plugin/examples/rerun-failing-tests.html Is there a way to make something like this work with the soapui-maven-plugin? I see the documentation for it here, but nothing that seems to offer this capability.https://www.soapui.org/test-automation/maven/maven-2-x.html Re: Why does SoapUI 5.4.0 keep freezing? So is anyone from the development community going to respond? This is apparently an known an issue and has been for quite a while... Re: Why does SoapUI 5.4.0 keep freezing?Bump. We've also found that opening multiple projects makes the application unusable. Making any changes and then attempting to save completely freezes the application. Why does SoapUI 5.4.0 keep freezing? Hello, We are using SoapUI 5.4.0. We continuously have issues with the application freezing up forcing us to kill the process and restart. This is very frustrating as we sometimes lose work because it does not save. We've also experienced issues opening more than one SoapUI project in the application. We have around 24 test suites (will be only 7 when we're done consolidating.) Test case count will be in the hundreds. We have 150+ web services calls. Is this something others experience? What can we do to resolve this problem? Re: Does the clone method for TestSteps lock the request being cloned? That seems like a feasible work around. However, I don't think we're in a position to overhaulthingsto work this way. We've already spent a considerable amount of time getting where we are now. Iattempted to implement what seems to be a feasible work around. I'm forcing it to sleep a random amount of time between 1-5 seconds and then attempt the re-clone if there is an exception. Does the clone method for TestSteps lock the request being cloned? I am executing test cases in parallel. Instead of having the requests in each test case I drive them using Groovy. I have a set of base requests that the test cases share. When the test case uses a request it clones the request from the base requests to it's test case, executes it, and then deletes it. I believe the clone method is locking the request sowhen two test cases attempt to clone the base request at the EXACT same time then they both fail. So I have two questions: Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to do a read-only lock so that the clone can be executed more than once at the exact same time? Thanksin advance for your time. Re: [Reg] Cannot Move or Delete Test Steps I'm also seeing this issue in SoapUI v5.4.0. On a Mac here. Is there any resolution? org.apache.xmlbeans.impl.values.XmlValueDisconnectedException at org.apache.xmlbeans.impl.values.XmlObjectBase.check_orphaned(XmlObjectBase.java:1244) at com.eviware.soapui.config.impl.ModelItemConfigImpl.getName(ModelItemConfigImpl.java:208) at com.eviware.soapui.impl.wsdl.AbstractWsdlModelItem.getName(AbstractWsdlModelItem.java:103) at com.eviware.soapui.impl.wsdl.teststeps.WsdlTestStep.getLabel(WsdlTestStep.java:91) at TestRunner$_deleteAllTempSteps_closure4$_closure5$_closure6.doCall(TestRunner.groovy:178) at sun.reflect.GeneratedMethodAccessor23.invoke(Unknown Source) at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:43) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:498) at org.codehaus.groovy.reflection.CachedMethod.invoke(CachedMethod.java:93) at groovy.lang.MetaMethod.doMethodInvoke(MetaMethod.java:325) at org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.metaclass.ClosureMetaClass.invokeMethod(ClosureMetaClass.java:294) at groovy.lang.MetaClassImpl.invokeMethod(MetaClassImpl.java:1019) at groovy.lang.Closure.call(Closure.java:426) at groovy.lang.Closure.call(Closure.java:442) at org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.DefaultGroovyMethods.each(DefaultGroovyMethods.java:2030) at org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.DefaultGroovyMethods.each(DefaultGroovyMethods.java:2015) at org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.DefaultGroovyMethods.each(DefaultGroovyMethods.java:2056) at org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.dgm$162.doMethodInvoke(Unknown Source) at TestRunner$_deleteAllTempSteps_closure4$_closure5.doCall(TestRunner.groovy:173) at sun.reflect.GeneratedMethodAccessor24.invoke(Unknown Source) at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:43) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:498) at org.codehaus.groovy.reflection.CachedMethod.invoke(CachedMethod.java:93) at groovy.lang.MetaMethod.doMethodInvoke(MetaMethod.java:325) at org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.metaclass.ClosureMetaClass.invokeMethod(ClosureMetaClass.java:294) at groovy.lang.MetaClassImpl.invokeMethod(MetaClassImpl.java:1019) at groovy.lang.Closure.call(Closure.java:426) at groovy.lang.Closure.call(Closure.java:442) at org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.DefaultGroovyMethods.each(DefaultGroovyMethods.java:2030) at org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.DefaultGroovyMethods.each(DefaultGroovyMethods.java:2015) at org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.DefaultGroovyMethods.each(DefaultGroovyMethods.java:2056) at org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.dgm$162.doMethodInvoke(Unknown Source) at TestRunner$_deleteAllTempSteps_closure4.doCall(TestRunner.groovy:171) at sun.reflect.GeneratedMethodAccessor25.invoke(Unknown Source) at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:43) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:498) at org.codehaus.groovy.reflection.CachedMethod.invoke(CachedMethod.java:93) at groovy.lang.MetaMethod.doMethodInvoke(MetaMethod.java:325) at org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.metaclass.ClosureMetaClass.invokeMethod(ClosureMetaClass.java:294) at groovy.lang.MetaClassImpl.invokeMethod(MetaClassImpl.java:1019) at groovy.lang.Closure.call(Closure.java:426) at groovy.lang.Closure.call(Closure.java:442) at org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.DefaultGroovyMethods.each(DefaultGroovyMethods.java:2030) at org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.DefaultGroovyMethods.each(DefaultGroovyMethods.java:2015) at org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.DefaultGroovyMethods.each(DefaultGroovyMethods.java:2056) at org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.dgm$162.doMethodInvoke(Unknown Source) at TestRunner.deleteAllTempSteps(TestRunner.groovy:169) at TestRunner$deleteAllTempSteps.call(Unknown Source) at Script1.run(Script1.groovy:3) at com.eviware.soapui.support.scripting.groovy.SoapUIGroovyScriptEngine.run(SoapUIGroovyScriptEngine.java:90) at com.eviware.soapui.impl.wsdl.teststeps.WsdlGroovyScriptTestStep.run(WsdlGroovyScriptTestStep.java:141) at com.eviware.soapui.impl.wsdl.panels.teststeps.GroovyScriptStepDesktopPanel$RunAction$1.run(GroovyScriptStepDesktopPanel.java:250) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor.runWorker(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:1149) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:624) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:748)
